FPS pressure filters can operate at pressure up to 320 bar. They are designed to protect the entire circuit or individual valves against contamination in the hydraulic oil. FPS filters are designed for in line mounting.

High-pressure filtration is used especially in systems where valves sensitive to contamination are installed, i.e. control valves, proportional valves or servo valves. Such filters are installed on the delivery side of the pump. If the system is running continuously, often two high-pressure filters are used. When thefilter element is contaminated in the working filter, the oil flow through the second filter is switched on. Atos offers two sizes of FPS filters with the size and type of oil ports to choose from. The material of the filter elements is made of microfiber. The microfiber filtration rating according to ISO 16889 for βx (c)> 1000 is 4.5, 7 or 12 μm.
